dancer's pose // natarajasana
Dancer's pose, or Natarajasana, is a beautiful pose of peace and balance. Starting in Mountain pose, Tadasana, find a drishti in front of you. Once you find a solid foundation, put your weight into your left foot, and lean forward with your body as you extend your right leg back behind you. Reach back with your right hand, grasping the inside of your right foot, and kick into that foot to extend through your spine, creating length and leverage. Bring your left hand out in front of you creating a mudra to find stillness and calm as you extend further into the pose.
