side crow // parsva kakasana

Side crow, or Parsva Kakasana, is a pose of balance, stability, and trust. Similar to Crow pose, getting into this posture, and staying in it, requires steadiness of the body and the mind. Sink down while on your toes, bringing your palms to the mat to one side of your legs. Bring your thigh to rest on your triceps. This will be your base. Lean into your arms and wrists, allowing your feet to come off the mat, to find the balancing point, and finding that trust in and stability of your body.
