easy pose // sukhasana
Easy pose, or Sukhasana, is a tranquil pose of stillness and reflection. This pose is often part of a yoga sequence, but focus is on our breathing or alignment rather than on the pose itself. Take a comfortable seat, grounding your sit bones into the mat (or the sea wall in this case!). With a natural spine, create length from the tip of your tailbone to the crown of your head. Bring the tops of your hands to rest upon your knees, touching your thumb to your middle finger for Shuni Mudra, welcoming in patience and calm, and come to the present.
