Tree pose, or Vrksasana, is a pose of stability and growth. Standing strong, shift your weight into one foot, bringing the other knee up, placing the sole of your foot on the side of your calf or, if accessible, the inside of your thigh. Just be sure to avoid your knee. Focus your gaze ahead, and bring your hands to heart center, as you continue to lengthen from the ground through the crown of your head.
